The Garden of Armida, "locus amoenus" where the lushness of the plants results in a proliferation of visual, auditory, olfactory, hedonistic parenthesis of a pagan paradise done on purpose to upset the world of self-consciousness. The original garden designed by Cesare Studiati in the mid-nineteenth century is made from century-old plants like camellias, magnolias, a primordial Auracaria, Ginko, Ilex , Oaks, Yews, Junipers, By-laurels, Acanthus, Sequoias, Nettle-trees, Lindens, Horse-chestnut trees, Acacias, Cedars of Lebanon that protect the villa and create a picturesque exotic view arising from Palms, Bamboo, Bananas. The vision of the romantic garden confused and confusing, tired and fatiguing, has gradually been implemented with rare camellias and palms, several species of mimosa, a rich collection of tree peonies brought directly from China and Japan, gardenias, collections of roses from the most famous international nurseries, hydrangea, passion-flower, clematis, jasmine, callistemon, calicanthus, buddleie, but also pomegranates, mulberries, lemons, oranges kiwi, looking even obsessively, manic and presumptuous to acclimatize plants reluctant to place. Inside the greenhouse, according to the seasons, tropical plants like orchids, Nephenta, protea, taro, Platycerium, Monstera, sterlizia, and other live togheter with a cockatoo and a large parrot macaw, which meanders language fluently and articulates the voice in a way that resembles the human language. Behind the Bambueto a large swimming pool with a black background with the characteristics of a fishpond in eighteenth-century sandstone. Beside an ancient kiosk of the end of the nineteenth century, coming from the Piazza dei Cavalieri in Pisa, the attractiveness of a miniature house, away from the cares and worries of daily living, hidden and comfortable shelter to enjoy the beauty of the garden when the weather is not favorable and yet a large gazebo stifled by a jasmine. Near the pool an old wash house has been restored by creating a small cottage. Going further, a fresh woods where a group of peacocks and an huge eagle-owl live.
In the garden and the park also a new biological system which fully protects environment by insects has been installed.
